On a lovely sunny day
157 elegant ladies from District 10 and representatives of other
Districts came to Sixways Stadium, Worcester, for the Summer
Rally. The room was soon full of smiling faces and a
lively hum of conversation and laughter.
The official photographer was Rotarian Peter Gardener of
the Rotary Club of Pershore, who, after the official
photographs were taken, proceeded to take many more.
Webmaster Bill Hodgkinson has put them on the website
where they can be seen and downloaded. This worked very
successfully last year so Bill has again kindly made the
current ones available this year. The photographs were
shown on the big screen during lunch.

| The Presidents |
When we entered the dining room we were very impressed
with the sophisticated flower arrangements done in Inner
Wheel colours all created by Jill Millard of Pershore
the host Inner Wheel Club.

Once everyone was settled 2010-2011 District
Chairman Liz Hodgkinson welcomed everybody
before presenting incoming Chairman Nicky Clark
with the chain of office. Association President
Phyllis then lit the Friendship Candle. |
In her response Nicky said how pleased and proud she was
to be taking on the role of District Chairman and that
she hoped the next year would be hard working and
productive but also be full of fun along the way.
Nicky’s chosen charity for the year is The Samaritans.
